National Programme Officer at International Organization for Migration (IOM) Indonesia

Education

  • Master’s degree in Political, Law, Social Science, International Relations, Social Work, Public or Business Administration or a related field from an accredited academic institution with minimum two years of relevant professional experience, or;
  • University degree in the above fields with minimum four years of relevant professional experience

Experience

  • Has programme management experience, including: resource management, staff coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and budgeting;
  • Has experience in government liaison of the following government institutions: Coordinating Ministry of Human Development and Culture, Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Children Protection, Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, and National Board for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers, Indonesian National Police, Attorney General Office and Indonesian Supreme Court.
  • Must demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the labour migration and human trafficking context and practices in Indonesia as well as relevant policies, laws and regulations pertaining to labour migration and counter-trafficking; knowledge of IOM standards and global best practices on labour migration management and counter trafficking a distinct advantage;
  • Strong strategic and creative thinking and proven high level analytical skills; strong networking skills with international organizations, civil society organizations, donors, diplomatic authorities and any other relevant stakeholders necessary for the implementation of IOM’s activities and the development of future initiatives;

    Key responsibilities:

    Insurance products

  • Review and provide legal comments to the policy provision, product marketing, and other product/marketing documents and assist Head of Legal to give sign off (or in the absent of Head of Legal, provide sign off to product documents);
  • Provide legal advices and counsels to product team in relation to the finalization and launching of insurance products;
  • Assist in the submission of product application to regulator;
  • Review and give comments to product training materials; and
  • Assist the BU in preparing and finalizing the unit link annual report.

    Internship Programme at ASEAN Centre for Energy

    Persyaratan pelamar:

    1. Warga negara ASEAN.
    2. Memiliki kemahiran dalam bahasa Inggris dan keterampilan menulis yang sangat baik.
    3. Memiliki minat pada bidang pekerjaan ACE, khususnya 7 (tujuh) Area Program APAEC 2016-2025 (Jaringan Listrik ASEAN, Pipa Gas Trans-ASEAN, Teknologi Batubara dan Batubara Bersih, Efisiensi dan Konservasi Energi, Energi Terbarukan, Kebijakan dan Perencanaan Energi Regional, dan Energi Nuklir Sipil).
    4. Terdaftar pada program Sarjana di bidang Teknik, Studi Energi, Hubungan Internasional, atau bidang terkait (minimal mahasiswa tahun ketiga). Untuk magang di divisi komunikasi, jurusan bahasa lebih diutamakan.
    5. Terdaftar pada program Master di bidang Teknik, Studi Energi, atau bidang terkait (waktu studi masih tersisa setidaknya satu semester/kuartal setelah magang).
    6. Baru saja lulus (Sarjana, Magister, atau setara) dan, jika terpilih, harus memulai magang dalam jangka waktu 6 bulan setelah lulus.
    7. Memiliki kemampuan dasar  perangkat lunak komputer umum (Microsoft Office).
    8. Memiliki keterampilan organisasi yang baik.
    9. Memiliki kemampuan untuk bekerja dalam tim dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan kerja internasional.

    Peserta magang bekerja di bawah pengawasan anggota staf di ACE. Durasi normal magang adalah dua (2) bulan, yang dapat diperpanjang dengan kesepakatan bersama bila ada persyaratan khusus. Peserta magang berhak atas tunjangan makan dan transportasi sebesar Rp 100.000 per hari kerja.
