Talkshow “Education Week 2021: Fakultas Hukum UGM Menyapa” merupakan acara yang diselenggarakan oleh Law Career Development Center Fakultas Hukum Universitas Gadjah Mada (LCDC FH UGM) yang berkolaborasi dengan Unit Jaminan Mutu dan Inovasi Akademik FH UGM. Untuk hari kedua, selain penayangan Talkshow Pengenalan Program Studi Magister Ilmu Hukum & Master of Law Yogyakarta, Magister Hukum Kesehatan, Magister Hukum Litigasi, dan Sharing Alumni, Education Week 2021 juga mengangkat webminar sisipan dengan tema mengenai Peluang Beasiswa LPDP. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menyalurkan informasi kepada mahasiswa FH UGM maupun umum mengenai berbagai macam pilihan studi lanjut sebagai penunjang karir. Sesi ini mengundang 4 (empat) orang sebagai narasumber, yakni Sri Wiyanti Eddyono, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. (Pengelola Prodi MIH dan LLM), Dr. Heribertus Jaka Triyana, S.H., LL.M. M.A. (Pengelola Prodi M.HKes), Dr. Supriyadi, S.H., M.Hum. (Pengelola Prodi Magister Litigasi), dan Adlia Nur Zhafarina, S.H., M.H. (Alumni Prodi MIH FH UGM).

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menyalurkan informasi kepada mahasiswa FH UGM mengenai berbagai macam pilihan studi lanjut sebagai penunjang karir. Sesi ini mengundang 3 (tiga) orang sebagai narasumber, yakni Dr. Richo Andi Wibowo, S.H., LL.M (Sekretaris Program Studi Sarjana Hukum), Dr. Destri Budi Nugraheni, S.H., M.Si. (Ketua Program Studi Magister Kenotariatan), dan Wyncent Halim, S.H. (Alumni Program Studi Sarjana FH UGM).
Job Responsibilities
The main areas of responsibility of the researcher will include the following:
Research and Knowledge (75% of time required)
- Conducting legal research and analysis of financial regulatory framework, specifically issues related to policy and governance (laws and regulation, government reform, state and non-state agencies relationship) related with ecological sustainable development
- Support the development of governance strategy for sustainable financial mechanism implementation in the sub-national level, designed to achieve both sectoral and governance-related outcomes
- Preparing and co-authoring legal memo, legal drafting, policy review/recommendation, knowledge products and other communication documents (e.g., reports, briefs, data products, tools, blog, white paper, position paper, memo policy brief, case study, opinion editorial, presentation, etc.)
Program Management & Stakeholder Engagement (25% of time required)
- Support the One Map Initiative program related to improving sustainable financial development through effective fiscal transfer mechanism
- Coordinate with associated managers, researchers, partners, and regional teams related to these projects and initiatives;
- Support the documentation of progress from the activities, and the development of project documents, presentations, reports, and proposals.

Deliverables
- An analysis of regulatory framework related with sustainable development on various kind of existing financial mechanism in Indonesia and financial modelling for West Papua using endowment/trust fund
- Research manuscript for scientific and/or WRI peer-reviewed publications (e.g., issue brief, working paper) on endowment/trust fund for sustainable development in West Papua
- Research documentations, data analysis, reports, and presentation materials as necessary to support the completion of knowledge products including but not limited to research results for development interventions, policy scenarios, and other assessments
Job Qualifications
- Legally able to work in Indonesia;
- A master’s degree law with keen interest in science.
- Minimum 5 (five) years research experience in relevant field;
- A good understanding of Indonesia’s legal framework, especially on land-based sector particularly forestry, peatland and plantation, a sustainable development and sustainable financing issues;
- Strong inter-personal skills, good sense of humour, and experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds;
- Excellent analytical skill, well organized and maintain high attention to details;
- Excellent communication and writing skill both bahasa and english;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team player; and
- Ability to travel when needed.
Performance Standard
- Timely and satisfactory delivery of program management and research activities;
- Effective team work and communication;
- Must be capable of setting priorities;
- Ability to work well with internal and external participants is essential.
Duration
The works by this Consultant will be conducted from May until September 2021 with possibility of extension upon performance, project structure and budget availability.
