Compliance Intern at Fintopia Indonesia

Fintopia Indonesia, led by its product Easycash, has 24 million cumulative registered users and has provided USD2 billion worth of consumer loans for millions of people such as small business owners, farmers, students, and other working professionals. Differing from traditional credit check solutions, Fintopia lends money to our customers based on their online footprint which everyone has. 

By leveraging big data technologies and cutting-edge machine learning algorithms, we have developed a loan decision engine that generates accurate credit decisions in seconds. Fully-automated underwriting and origination workflow have been built to process thousands of loan applications efficiently. With the capability to self-regulate its learning, the risk-return profile of our credit loan portfolio has become more and more attractive.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the creation regulatory reporting to the regulator (OJK);
  • Support and provide regulator advices and related-supports to others Department and Division according to the policies and regulations of regulatory agencies such as OJK/AFPI, conduct research, and suggestions on relevant laws;
  • Timely follow up the regulatory emails, especially the compliance handling of complaints;
  • Assist the relevant work of other departments to accurately meet the regulatory requirements;
  • Support and assist the develop a professional network and influence within the applicable associations and regulators.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate students, preferably in 7th or 8th semester with minimum GPA 3.00 out of 4.00 from Law or any related major (Fresh Graduate are welcome);
  • Fluent in both oral and written English;
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good knowledge of and familiarity with corporate and commercial law, employment, and data protection law considered an asset;
  • Strong organizational, communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills with the capacity of identifying all risks and proactively choosing the best solutions.

Job Description
