Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Legal, a successful candidate will be expected to:
- Ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and commercially practical legal advice on licensing, regulatory and counterparty risk. This enables the business to deliver innovative new products in a competitive market
- Conduct contract review for a wide range of business units within Lazada.
- Protect and defend the company in respect of litigation cases and managing the company’s litigation portfolio, including managing external counsel
- Respond to regulators’ enquiries, investigations and inspections (if any)
- Implement Group-wide contract frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines
- Participate in Group-wide legal research and legal technology projects

- A cheerleader for legal education and awareness. In legal-speak, we’re looking for someone with:
- Minimum 3 years+ of relevant professional experience (mix of in-house and private practice in top-tier law firms preferred), with demonstrable experience in supporting litigation matters;
- Experience in fast-evolving and dynamic industries such as technology or e-commerce
