Responsibilities:
- Manage legal dossiers and operations, structure and coordinate relations with all the departments involved and with external counsels.
- Advise operational and functional departments in all fields of Business Law
- Optimize legal security/compliance: provide reporting of legal documents and litigations, manage preliminary authorisations, follow compulsory standards
- Negotiate and draft all types of legal documents: internal and external to the Group, commercial, property, industrial and information systems contracts. Follow contractual relations with the department head
- Litigations and transactions: follow litigations (pre-litigations, litigations, trials and/or transactions) working with the departments concerned and external counsels
- Increase operational and functional departments awareness of Group best practices (in particular legal chart.
- Knows brands, products, markets and related issues
- Develops proximity with his/her clients to facilitate awareness and appropriate reflexes on legal issues
- Keeps continuously informed of relevant legal evolutions and internal norms to provide his/her clients with relevant advise
- Ensures the right implementation of Law and regulations to secure the business
- Takes part in the development of internal control initiatives, ensuring compliance of operations, making actors aware of points of vigilance
- Listens actively and decodes facts/situations to qualify the right diagnosis
- Imagines alternative options/solutions to match business needs
- Clarifies and simplifies concepts to match the point and advise efficiently to facilitate
Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor Degree from Law from top tier university
- Having minimum 7 to 8 years of experience as legal counsel
- Have solid exposure in FMCG industry will be a plus point
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in English
