Responsibilities
- Provides complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
- Provides analytics to business initiatives, typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.
- Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
- Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
- Identifies, assesses and monitors the compliance risks within the Company and ensures that Company policies, system, and procedure as well as the business activities implemented by the Company are compliant with Indonesian laws and regulations governing a financing company, and OJK directions;
- Provides continual monitoring of the Company’s business activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance with the business targets and strategy, including the Company’s memorandum and articles of association;
- Assists the BOC in monitoring and assuring effectiveness of the internal control system, the implementation of internal and external auditor duties, by conducting monitoring and evaluation on the quality, planning and implementation of audit in the framework to assess the adequacy of internal control including the process of the financial report;
- Has the authority to authorize, verify, reconcile, evaluate working performance, job distribution and security towards assets of the Company to ensure the internal control framework is effective and appropriate considering the size and complexity of the Company’s business;
- Participates in the monthly BOD meetings, quarterly BOC meetings, and Audit Committee meetings and provides regular reporting to the BOD, BOC and Audit Committee on the Company’s compliance status of internal controls;
- Has overall responsibility to provide expert support on compliance issues, advising BOD and BOC on relevant OJK regulations, standards and requirements and advise accordingly on the creation or updating of policies;
- Provides education and training in order to facilitate awareness of compliance requirements;
- Authority to investigate potential or suspected compliance breaches by the Company and report its findings to the BOD and BOC; and
- Communicate with and maintain relationships with the OJK.
Education And Experience Required
- Practical experience and knowledge of local regulations (OJK, Central Bank)
- APU/PPT experience and knowledge
- Experience with financial institutions strongly preferred
- First level university degree with a focus in business, economics or legal; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Typically experienced in more than one function
