Job Description

  • Provide technical support to the incorporation of monitoring and reporting into program formulation and UN coordination mechanism
  • Contribute substantively to the monitoring and tracking of results against country/regional level targets and UN Women Strategic Plan
  • Facilitate the reporting of results to internal and external audiences
  • Provide technical support to the Indonesia Country Office in the implementation of UN Women guidance on coordination and planning and Evaluation Policy
  • Contribute to knowledge building and capacity building
Required Skills and Experience
Education:

  • A first-level university degree in Political or Social Science, Economics, International Development Studies, Gender/Women’s Studies is required. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant areas would be desirable
  • A project/programme management certification and/or certificate on Data Analysis, Research and Monitoring and Evaluation would be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Two years of experience for candidate with Bachelor’s degree and no experience for  candidate with Master Degree. For candidate with bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience at the national level in monitoring, evaluation and reporting of development projects/programmes;
  • Hands-on experience in developing Project Monitoring Framework, with good understanding on Theory of Change is required, work experience in programmes or projects management on gender equality and women’s empowerment is an asset;
  • Good knowledge in using spreadsheet for data tracking and word processing (MS Excel, MS Words, PowerPoint) is required, familiarity with online system of project implementation monitoring and tracking is an advantage;
  • Hands on experience in coordination and consolidation of narrative reporting from multiple projects/program is desired;
  • Experience in international organizations and/or United Nations systems is an asset;

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; demonstrated skills for report writing and documentation is preferred.
