Qualifications
- Bachelor of Law from a reputable university having GPA minimum 3.00 or equivalent;
- Minimum 7 (seven) years’ work experience in foreign investment company or corporate law firm;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English;
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian laws, in particular civil and commercial laws;
- Capable of working under pressure, with minimum supervision, able to interact with culturally diverse people, self-motivated, result oriented and a team player;
- Able to complete tasks and respond to operational needs on a timely basis, including outside of normal working hours when necessary;
- Able to process licenses and permits either online or offline;
- Experience in the power generation industry is preferred, but not essential;
- PERADI Licensed lawyer is an advantage;
- Interested and have basic knowledge in energy industry is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Oversee legal aspects of business operations in Indonesia, including advising on general corporate and commercial matters, development of new businesses, company secretarial matters, employee relations and contract management.
- Legal research, including but not limited to providing advisory and legal opinion for the business operations in Indonesia, development of new laws
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with existing and potential business partners
- Liaising with relevant regulatory bodies or authorities
- Maintain filing system for all legal documents
- Maintaining knowledge of the company’s legal documents and operations
