Job description
- Ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and commercially practical legal advice on licensing, regulatory, and counterparty risk. This enables the business to deliver innovative new products in a competitive market
- Contract management for all of Lazada’s business units, and leading negotiations on strategic, complex, and high-value agreements (such as joint venture and key Brand partnership agreements)
- Incident management (e.g., responding to inspections by authorities / assisting in PR incident responses)
- Implementing Group-wide contract frameworks, policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Implementing Group-wide compliance programs
- Managing the company’s litigation portfolio, including managing external counsel
- Participating in Group-wide legal research and legal technology projects

- Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant professional experience (mix of in-house and private practice in top-tier law firms preferred), with experience in the trade, corporate/commercial, TMT, IP, data privacy, M&A, and consumer protection related issues;
- Experience in fast-evolving and dynamic industries such as technology or e-commerce
