Position Summary
We are looking for a junior to midlevel associate with strong cross-border M&A and corporate experience with Witara Cakra Advocates in association with White & Case LLP. You should have strong academic credentials as well as an aptitude for navigating the complex and fast-evolving regulatory landscape. An independent self-starter, you will use your astute judgement proactively to anticipate client needs, and contribute to the success of multiple projects.
Both pragmatic and a quick learner, you will manage multiple workstreams for both internal projects as well as client matters. You will have proven drafting and writing skills, be knowledgeable about research resources, and committed to producing high-quality, accurate work.

Duties and Accountabilities
- Drafting and reviewing legal and technical documentation
- Conducting legal and technical research
- Analyzing commercial and legal information
- Working directly with clients
- Involvement in due diligence – analysis of agreements and their subsequent description
- Drafting legal memoranda on broad range of topics arising under commercial law and corporate law precedents
- Providing direct assistance to senior lawyers on matters arising in the course of day-to-day provision of legal services to leading international and domestic corporate clients
Qualifications
- Law degree from a top law school in Indonesia
- PQE2-3 with peer international law firms
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple projects
- Excellent drafting skills
- International experience a plus
- Good understanding of the key risks and issues involved in cross-border transactions;
- Experience on advising on numerous commercial contracts
