A prominent global law firm is seeking an experienced senior associate with good international training and significant M&A experience, for their Jakarta office.
You may, for example, be admitted in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, or other commonwealth jurisdiction, or perhaps the Netherlands (given the civil law roots of Indonesia) but must have the requisite cross-border corporate experience and specialism, and training from an established, highly ranked firm. Energy sector exposure would be of particular interest. Those with experience in Asia would be at an advantage though other strong candidates with an interest in relocating to the region will be considered. For those already in the region, and with a client following, there may be opportunities for partner-track.

- Establishing and renewing/updating master Legal data room and documentation of all legal documents.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal research report.
- Translating legal documents.
- Other operational tasks related to the above.
