About SUAKA

SUAKA is an Indonesian Non-Governmental Organization focusing on the protection of refugee rights in Indonesia. SUAKA has been formally registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2019 as an association.

SUAKA started with a small team of volunteers and recently expanded with 6 board members, including 3 full-time staff. SUAKA’s volunteers have been supporting SUAKA’s works since its early days. The volunteers mainly include pro bono lawyers and paralegals, while students, researchers, and professionals support our variety of works. read more

CSIS is seeking a full-time research intern from March 2021 to September 2021 to support the CSIS Reconnecting Asia Project–an initiative that analyses the evolving digital, transport, and energy connectivity of Eurasia, including China’s Belt and Road Initiative. The position is research and data entry intensive and therefore requires excellent time management skills and careful attention to detail.
