Contracts Manager (Legal) – Quality & Risk ManagementÂ
We seek a technically-solid Legal Manager who can work independently while functioning well with a team, who is serious about building a career in-house with a top-tier organisation.
In this role, you will cover the region while being based in Indonesia and report directly to the QRM Partner in Singapore, and play an important part in dealing with contractual and legal risk in the SEA Consulting offices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support negotiations in a broad range of commercial contracts with internal and external clients and suppliers, such as regional and global engagement arrangements, confidentiality agreements, referrals, teaming and sub-contracting arrangements, and tenders.
- Support the Contracts team and/or coordinate with external counsel where necessary in advising on, drafting, reviewing and negotiating on vanilla, novel and complex commercial matters.
- Travelling is required from time to time.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of legal policies, rules and guidelines
- Remain updated on legal developments and continue to develop best practices tailored to Deloitte’s business needs.
- A candidate of the right aptitude will also be given exposure to the following areas and have the opportunity to develop subject-matter expertise in multi-jurisdictional commercial arrangements, the law of privacy, and/or investigative/contentious work.

If you are someone with :
- A recognised law degree from an established university, and a qualification in Indonesian law.
- 5-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a reputable law firm, with a strong foundation in corporate and commercial work; and/or experience in a good in-house legal team.
- Ability to work independently in advising on, drafting, reviewing and negotiating documents on a broad range of commercial matters.
- Exposures to management consulting or IT industry is desirable
- A good understanding of risk management and commercial practices.
- Ability to engage confidently and effectively with different people across different seniorities, expertise, roles and culture.
- Versatility in thinking and a large appetite for learning.

Junior Associate – Legal
- Provide support for the lawyers and consultants in preparing, revising and finalizing legal and written documents;
- Properly review, proofread and assist with any materials, including documents, reports, memos, briefings, presentations, forms and other items ensuring accuracy and completeness;
- Assist with producing print ready documents for review by Senior Associate;
- Ensure supporting materials for meetings and events are prepared accurately and provided in a timely manner;
- Proactively contribute to office activities to ensure an efficient and cohesive team environment
Requirements
- Graduate in Bachelor Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00, preferably majoring in Law
- Experience managing legal documents
- Excellent and professional command of the English language in a written and verbal capacity
- Operates with a high degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, not limited to Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Able to work multitasking with tight deadline
- Have an excellent time management
- Good interpersonal and communication skill

Associate – Legal
- Provide support for the Senior Associate, Counsel, and Partners in preparing, revising and finalizing legal and written documents.
- Properly proofread and assist with any materials, including documents, reports, memos, briefings, presentations, forms and other items ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with producing print ready documents for review by Senior Associate.
- Ensure supporting materials for meetings and events are prepared accurately and provided in a timely manner.
- Proactively contribute to office activities to ensure an efficient and cohesive team environment
Requirements
- Graduate in Bachelor Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00, preferably majoring in Law

- Reporting Skills, Research Skills, Legal Administration Skills

Managing Associate Legal
- Able to properly advise clients, develops strategies, prepares legal documents.
- Managing the associate’s works and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team.
- Prepare fee matter estimates and quotations.
- Ensure effective management of time, effort and resources in order to generate maximum efficiencies.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with clients. Establish credibility, influence where appropriate and provide excellent client service.
- Build knowledge and experience in practice areas to the highest standards.
- Maintain time records at all times.
- Ensure work is compliant with procedures and standard documents.
- Maintain Knowledge Management (KM) information/system and ensure this is accurate and current.
- Consider regulatory issues at all times and report any concerns to senior management as appropriate.
- Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the team
- Able to support Partner on daily basis management duties.
- Understand Legal Business plan and Strategic plan
- Undertake project work as required, undertaking any initiatives identified and designated from time to time by Heads of Service Line Partners or Director of Business Development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Law, from reputable university in Indonesia or overseas
- Minimum GPA 3.00 (scale 4.00)
- Having high motivation, loyal and honest
- More than 5 years of working experience at top-tier law firms or multinational companies
- Obtained advocate license (mandatory)
- Excellent in legal drafting skill
- Good communication skill with excellent English speaking and writing ability
- Dynamic, have good logical and analytical thinking, and good in attitude
- Strong in leadership
- Able to work individually and as a team
