Esri Indonesia is currently hiring for a Corporate Legal Counsel. As a Corporate Legal Counsel, you will be responsible to advise the internal solution team, business, and sales teams on licensing, usage, compliance, risk, mitigation, and community-related matters.

Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements including sales, vendor, license, non-disclosure, referral, partnership, service, and various other agreements
- Find and resolve wide-ranging legal issues relating to the business, including issues such as transactional and commercial law, licensing, litigation risk, data privacy, and protection, regulatory and intellectual property. You will work directly with business clients to provide on-the-ground support and identify potential legal issues.
- Assisting with the development of legal responses to requests for proposals (RFP)
- Identifying and mitigating issues and compliance risks
- Assisting with the company Risk Report submission by compiling inputs and status from all departments.
- Act as a legal generalist while providing specialist support to clients and legal members in selected areas of expertise. You will provide legal support to your clients by resolving matters directly, and if required collaborating with specialized legal offices/consultants.
- Provide advice and support to management, staff, and to clients regarding legal subjects. For
- Serves as the primary point of contact for legal issues, collaborating closely with them, and solving legal problems quickly for the team you support.
- Review global products, features, and initiatives to assess legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions, from the early stages of product development through launch.
- Work closely with HRGA Dept to provide advice to improve & maintain compliance in the workplace.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of legal experience in a combination of law firm and in-house settings
- Oral and written English proficiency is a Must
- Must be confident, collaborative, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated business aptitude and ability to move quickly
- A genuine interest in new technologies. Bonus points for IT background and a willingness to get into the weeds with solution engineers and other clients!
- History of driving efficient and strategic use of resources, including technical groups, in-house counsel, and outside counsel
- A pragmatic approach to lawyering with the ability to strike a sensible and practical balance between legal risks and business objectives
