Responsibilities:
- Provide business-oriented solutions and legal advice to the management and facilitate the achievement of business goals and objectives
- Advise all business units and corporate departments on contractual questions, structuring of complex projects and claim issues, including drafting, reviewing and negotiation of all contracts, legal documents and transactional support on key deals and projects, in order to mitigate risk exposures to Siemens
- Manage litigations, disputes and claim management processes
- Structure and support M&A transactions and internal reorganizations
- Manage corporate and corporate secretarial work
- Participate actively in the development of cross border collaboration of the Siemens Legal team in ASEAN
- Lead the Indonesian Legal team of Siemens
- Report to the General Counsel of Siemens ASEAN all major legal issues;
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Law with at least +10 years post-qualification experience (PQE) from a leading law firm and preferable some experience as an inhouse counsel of an international company
- Possess an Advocate License from PERADI and an LL.M. degree (not mandatory but an advantage)
- Strong experience with M&A transactions, internal reorganizations, regulatory topics and business licenses and dealing with public authorities
- Strong affinity to legal tech applications and readiness to implement, apply and improve such applications
- Good analytical and drafting skills, organized and committed to deadlines
- Robust personality with high levels of energy and drive
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment
- Adaptable and commercially minded team player with a collegial personality
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with high level of proficiency in verbal and written English
