Accountable for Regulatory Compliance implementation process in order to support the business to be compliance with the external and internal regulations and to provide compliance advice to mitigate any potential regulatory risk.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for Regulatory Changes process, including monitoring new regulation, providing initial review of new regulation, communication to related parties, preparing gap analysis, monitor follow-up action implementation to close gap, providing regulatory compliance report, record-keeping for the evidence related to the regulatory changes process and updating regulatory matrix.
- Initiate meeting/discussion with the respective department to finalize gap impacted to their department and to agreed specific timeline to close gaps by respective departments
- Support the communication and relation between PLA and external key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and life insurance association.
- Provide compliance advice to mitigate potential regulatory risk relating to business activities with reference to External Regulation, Regional Compliance Standard and other internal regulation through documents review and advisory session with other departments, as part of support to first line compliance.
- Support for Compliance Coordinator Framework implementation
- Support implementation of PCA Regional Compliance Project (New PCA Regional Compliance Standard Implementation)
- Update Compliance SOP in annual basis or if at any time as required by regulation/Prudential standard.
- Provide Compliance socialization (as required) to internal PLA/Compliance Coordinator
- Support preparation of compliance reports
- Maintain the COSMO system.
- Oversight of Regional Compliance Standard (RCS) Implementation across function (including socialization, workshop, gap analysis and monitor action plan until closure).
- Management of Annual Compliance Attestation
- Support preparation of Annual Compliance Plan and TRAC
- Take the role as PIC in Regulatory Task Force (RTF) Meeting.
- Take the role as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for regulatory assessment (ie. Third Party Risk Assessment for Procurement Department, Compliance Assessment for new initiative)
- Monitoring of the completion of PLA wide SOP Annual Review completion

Manager of Compliance Advisory
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide compliance advices to mitigate potential regulatory risk, with reference to External Regulation, Regional Compliance Standard and other compliance related internal policies through documents review and discussion
- Conduct review to various product related documents
- Conduct compliance thematic or regular review on significant compliance issues such as: Compliance analysis on risk indicators, Customer Risk Commitment Routine Report, Conduct Customer Commitment Annual Assessment, Product Review and Risk Assessment (PRRA) report.
- Accountable for New Regulatory process as assigned by Supervisor, including providing initial review, communication to related parties, preparing gap analysis, monitor follow-up action implementation to close gap, providing regulatory compliance report, record-keeping for the evidence related to the regulatory changes process and updating regulatory matrix (e.g. Take the role as Person in Charge (PIC) from Compliance for the Regulatory Task Force).
- Support preparation of Annual Compliance Plan using Tool of Risk Assessment for Compliance (TRAC) in coordination with other Compliance Team
- Support ad-hoc compliance review/project/task, and support company projects as assigned
- Conduct proper documentation of review result and advices provided to other department/staff
- Support any ad-hoc request from regional Compliance regarding compliance related matters as assigned (PCA Visit, Implementation of Regional and Group Policy, etc)
- Communicate with regional regarding compliance related matters as assigned (PCA Visit, Implementation of Regional and Group Policy, etc)
- Provide and review the Compliance SOP in annual basis or if at any time as required by regulation/Prudential standard.
- Provide compliance socialization (as required) to internal PLA/Compliance Coordinator Become the main PIC for PCA Regional Compliance Project
- Support for ILP Project Implementation
