We are looking for a Junior Compliance Manager for our fast-growing Legal team. Our ideal teammate will have a strong Compliance experience. You’re comfortable working in the fast-paced environment of a fintech in growth mode, while also having an eye for the nuances that make or break a brand!

In this role, your responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, implement and maintain compliance frameworks, initiatives/programs and policies for good corporate governance and to reduce the exposure of Financial, Business, People, Legal and Regulatory interruptions and risks in the organization
  • Build, maintain and monitor company’s compliance with the laws and regulations and the company’s good corporate governance practices, internal policies and its documentation
  • Conduct regular reviews of products, process, and documentation to make sure their adherence to compliance framework
  • Scrutinize and test compliance programs, analyze findings and work with operational teams to ensure that programs can be carried out based on the applicable laws and regulations
  • Assist and improve the process of regulatory related audits
  • Develop and maintain system to track regulatory and compliance findings and risk
  • Educate, provide training, establish standard and guidelines for the internal team and the company as required by the Indonesian regulations/authorities
  • Actively collaborate with other teams to create a culture of compliance
  • Investigate findings or non-compliance issues and manage an effective action plan
  • Adapt focus on different compliance issues depending on company’s internal growth plans and regulatory & compliance requirement

Ultimately, you may shine in this role if you:

  • 4-5 years of experience in handling compliance/governance/internal audit
  • Having knowledge of OJK regulatory (eg. KYC and AMLCFT procedures) or ISO 27001
  • Understand how to deep dive and dig down word-by-word on understanding OJK regulations and able to interpret the regulations
  • Able to create processes/policies and conduct risk assessment (compliance and audit)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Positive attitude, flexible, self-starter, innovative, adaptive and detailed oriented with strong sense of responsibility
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with team
