Responsibilities: · Part of the SEA Legal team, supporting Indonesia legal lead; · Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements including service, development, advertising, entertainment, influencer and promotion agreements and NDAs; assist with updating contract models and templates as necessary; · Collaborate with various stakeholders in Indonesia to provide legal support for various projects and initiatives; · Manage mandatory reporting, license renewal and other regulatory compliance for ByteDance’s operations in Indonesia; · Advise on various compliance and litigation matters concerning products and business campaigns in Indonesia. Qualifications: · At least 7 years’ PQE · Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; · Indonesia law bachelor’s degree; · Indonesia permanent bar license (a PERADI member); · Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas: e-commerce or marketplace; payment getaway services, e-money, e-wallet; technology; intellectual property; data protection and data privacy; · Private practice experience will be favorable.
