ABOUT THE JOB
Responsibilities
Assisting the legal counsel on these various tasks:
- Conducts thorough and timely legal research on various matters (business/commercial related matters and also transactional matters).
- Provide business stakeholders with legal and compliance advice across a wide range of subject areas relating to e-commerce, including privacy, intellectual property, platform liability, product liability, advertising, contract and consumer protection laws.
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements with merchants, clients, and service providers.
- Organizes and maintains paper and electronic documents and files.
- Assists the Company on corporate financing transactions, M&A transactions and various corporate actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from reputable university would be preferred. However, final year law students are welcome to apply.
- Good communication skills and proficient in English, both written and verbally.
- Organized and detail oriented.
