Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Law, With a GPA minimum of 3.00.
- Should have at least a minimum of 3 years law firm experience
- Have a licensed as an advocate is preferable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Effective Drafting and Negotiation skills
- High focus on outcomes and ability to stand up to committed deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Responsibilities
- Handle the end-to-end litigation matters for the company with respect to civil lawsuits or criminal reports filed by the company against the counterparties in various forums (Heavy for Perdata & Commercial)
- Review documents, conducting research and accordingly providing the legal strategy and opinion for superior and/or the company’s management
- Ensure effective litigation management of all cases – timely filing of cases and monitoring their progress, and provide timely updates to the relevant leaders of division
- Analyze legal notices and ensuring timely and appropriate responses thereto
- Provide extensive briefing of and co-ordination with external counsels
- Attend police summons or court proceedings and coordinating for filing of all representation and submissions thereto
- Draft various documents as may be required in the course of work
- Provide update to superior and/or company’s management periodically
- Maintain proper filing of documents for each case handled
