Project Assistant
Tasks and responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance to the National Project Manager and ensures smooth and efficient communication and information flow within the project team;
- Collect relevant data and information both from the National Consultants and other related parties for Monitoring the project implementation against the processes and its schedules related to project outputs, products, tasks, etc. and informs the NPM and project team ahead of time on deadlines;
- Provide support to the Project Management Unit, particularly the Project manager for preparing the Term of Reference of meetings, prepares the meeting organization, drafting meeting minutes and monitors follow-up activities;
- Provide assistance in the coordination of supporting services of meetings, training, workshops etc., and events of the Project in collaboration with other staff of the country office;
- Maintain project activity calendar/schedules; monitor changes and communicate relevant information to appropriate project staff;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- First level university degree is required. Degree in fisheries science, natural resource management or a related field is desirable;
- Knowledge and 2 years experience in general project management and monitoring processes;
- Experience in administrative support functions including note taking and meeting arrangements;
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills in English.
- National of Indonesia.
Technical/Functional Skills
- Work in developing countries of the Asia and Pacific Region.
- Demonstrated strong technical and advisory and communication, team building, computer and report writing skills.
- Ability to speak the local language will be considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated good organizational skills in supporting a team of consultants/experts
- Demonstrated good client orientation;
- Familiar with computer skill such as MS office, Power Point, excel, MS Words;

Livelihood and Gender Specialist
Tasks and responsibilities/
- GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) analysis in inland aquatic conservation and fisheries practices;
- Prepare and establish a practical strategy for integrating socio-economic and gender consideration into the project, including a training programme as well as livelihood and gender monitoring framework;
- Assess and analyse the integration of livelihood and gender issues into the project work plan, ToR, and outputs from a socio-economic and gender perspective;
- Identify awareness and training needs regarding gender and livelihoods in the PMU and MMAF;
- Liaise regularly with partners and government counterparts;
- Prepare and submit field mission reports and monthly work progress reports to National Project Manager;
- Prepare and submit the end of assignment report.
Minimum Requirements
- University degree in socio-economic, community development, social science, or a related field.
- Five years of relevant experience working on livelihood and gender in rural Indonesia, experience in fisheries and conservation project is a plus;
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Nationality of Indonesia.

- Demonstrated experience of successfully working with international partners on natural resource management issues;
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectivelly with a range of stakeholders—national government, local government and beneficiaries;
- Strong relationship with government and non-government institution, national and international NGO, private sectors, academia, researcher, and other related to support his/her activities on livelihood and gender;
- Familiar with computer skill such as MS office, Power Point, excel, and MS Words;
